This primary school in Bristol is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work and provide both in and out of class support to pupils. The school are looking for a candidate with a proven, demonstrable background in Teaching Assistant work and relevant qualifications. The role will be to :
- Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction of the Head Teacher, SENCO or Class Teacher
- Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom
- Assist the class teacher as and when required in maintaining student records
- Support pupils with behavioural or emotional difficulties
- Develop social skills and promote inclusion
- Display pupils work around the classroom
- NVQ 3 TA qualification (or equivalent)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of supporting literacy and numeracy
- Experience of working within a similar role
- Excellent ICT skills SEN experience
