SEN Teachers with Complex Needs experience needed for a PMLD School in Harrow.
Our client school is a school for pupils aged 3-11 with statements of Special Educational Needs. Pupils have a range of complex needs including severe learning difficulties (SLD) and profound and multiply learning difficulties (PMLD) and a growing proportion with autistic spectrum disorder (ASD). Most pupils come from minority ethnic groups and over half have English as a second language. The School has a number of teaching roles coming up both now and in early 2010. The schools most recent OFSTED report graded them with and overall score of “Good” and describes the school as good with outstanding features. The school staff have an excellent support network and very modern facilities.
Role requirements:
- A relevant Teaching Qualification: PGCE, B.Ed or equivalent
- Proven SEN (ASD/PMLD) Experience
- You must have good spoken and written English;
- Be eligible to work in the UK
- This position is subject to an Enhanced CRB Disclosure and overseas police checks (if applicable)
