Newpark is looking for an organized, enthusiastic and hard-working professional Second in Charge to the nursery manager to join their happy team. The right candidate is committed to early years practice and believes that child care and education is best delivered when it is child-led and child focused.
The right candidate will want to be hands on with children aged 4 months to 4 years and is highly attentive to all the children’s developmental needs and is able to effectively implement the setting’s policies and procedures.
A high level of written and spoken English is essential.
Hours of work: 40 hours per week on a shift-based rota: 10hr shifts, 4 days per week. Paid 1 hour lunch break. The nursery is open from 7am to 7pm.
Qualifications and experience needed: NNEB, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. Graduates welcome. Montessori qualifications / experience is a bonus.
Training provided: Regular training offered, both in house and external. EYPS pathways supported. Opportunities for learning more about the Montessori method.
