Room Supervisor / Room Leader for the Baby Room.
What an opportunity for any aspiring Early Years professional looking to join a new company focused on providing the highest quality childcare to their customers and the best working environment for their staff. We seek exceptional, articulate, knowledgeable candidates for roles as Room Supervisors. The right candidate will have experience of private day nurseries and be at least NVQ3 or equivalent. They will be passionate about their profession and be experts on EYFS. They will have fantastic people management skills and lead by example.
This Nursery setting offers high quality care with outdoor space and well equipped rooms.
You will also need to have strong oral and written skills, good leadership and supervisory skills, expertise with EYFS, and lots of desire, enthusiasm and passion.
Duties will include –
To provide quality day care to the children and ensure that they are safe, loved, stimulated and well cared for.
To be responsible for planning and carrying out observation and assessments and writing reports.
To ensure that the room is a safe and secure environment which provides a wide range of activities for the children.
Making sure that the staff are adhering to this philosophy.
To guide and support staff, ensuring they maintain high standards, ensuring they plan for the children within the Early Years framework.
To be responsible for developing strong relationships with parents and other childcare professionals.
Preparing the Nursery for marketing events and parents evening
Being available for Parents evenings, providing detailed feedback to parents about their children.
Working closely with the Nursery Manager to constantly review and improve the service offering for the benefit of the children
