We require a dedicated, experienced, fully qualified Room Leader to join a setting which has recently been refurbished and has an excellent reputation and dedicated staff team. The Room leader will work with the Toddlers. You must be able to demonstrate a through understanding of the EYFS Framework and have plenty of supervisory experience. We do seek someone with at least 3 years post qualification experience.
Some of your Key Responsibilities will include -
Act as Room Leader and to implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Ensure your staff team provide high standards of care for the children.
Lead planning for the EYFS curriculum and maintain accurate records.
Ensure that your staff team are always aware of each child’s individual needs and that all children are kept safe and that the staff understand, and follow Child Protection Procedures.
Support the staff and supervise the staff with their day to day duties.
Be responsible for participating in all self-development activities including appraisals and supervisions.
Meet with the manager on a regular basis and report on individual children and staff
Meet with parents
Interview new staff with the manager
