Room Leader

A vacancy is available for a Room Leader to manage the Toddler Room in a Clapham Junction Nursery.
This rewarding position will offer you lots of additional training and career development, as well as the opportunity to work closely with the Toddlers – a really enjoyable and interesting age group – ensuring their development is closely monitored and all parents are receiving a high level of customer service.
You will be responsible for the overall running of the room and the team, as well as working closely with Management suppoting and contributing to the ongoing sucess of the Nursery.
If you are looking to undertake further training in preparation for a more senior role, this is an ideal Room Leader position not to be missed.

Some of your responsibilities as a Room leader will include:

• To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
• To lead your team in order for them to plan, prepare and review the curriculum as a team reflective of the EYFS
• To work in partnership with the parents
• To follow and implement all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery
• To lead the team in your room, providing day to day guidance for your staff where needed

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

• Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Have experience of working with children
