Hays Education are currently recruiting for a Room Leader to work in a Children’s Centre in Sheffield on a temporary basis. We are looking for applicants with level 3 qualifications in childcare, or a related degree in Early Years. Hours may vary from 7.30am – 6pm each day on a rota basis.
Qualifications and experience required are as follows:
Must have at least 2 years post qualification experience and ideally have some senior experience
Must hold a recognised childcare qualification in accordance with OFSTED guidelines (i.e. NVQ 3 or equivalent)
Experience within the childcare industry in the last 2 years is essential
A good theoretical and working knowledge of the new Early Years Foundation Stage
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to plan and organise
Commitment to maintaining high standards
A Caring, friendly, responsible and reliable nature
