Room Leader 2-3’s
A fantastic opportunity for a Room Leader to manage the 2-3’s room in a lovely Woking Nursery.
The successful Room Leader will have experience working with this age group and therefore a good understanding of their abilities, needs and interests at this age. You will ensure your room runs smoothly – from settling children into the room, to ensuring all staff work together as a team, to overseeing the planning in the room and ensuring all children’s interests and needs are supported through the planning.
This exciting position will allow you the opportunity to make your own decisions as to how the room should be run, with lots of support from the Nursery Manager when you need it.
This lively and rewarding age group will ensure no two days are ever the same, and will provide you with real job satisfaction as you see your efforts in managing the room are reflected in the children’s learning and achievements.
Some of your responsibilities as a Room leader will include:
- To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
- To lead your team in order for them to plan, prepare and review the curriculum as a team reflective of the EYFS
- To work in partnership with the parents
- To follow and implement all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery
- To lead the team in your room, providing day to day guidance for your staff where needed
You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Have experience of working with children
