Room Leader, Euston
A Room Leader is required within a lovely Nursery, located close to Euston Station.
This position will require you to oversee the running of your own room – ensuring all the staff are working well together and the parents are happy with the childcare service they are receiving.
Ideally you will have managed your own room before, but this is not essential. If you have experience in a Nursery and are looking for the next step in your career, this is a great opportunity!
The successful applicant will have good communication and organisational skills, the ability to multi-task and think on your feet and a commitment to providing excellent care and education.
Some of your responsibilities as a Room leader will include:
- To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
- To lead your team in order for them to plan, prepare and review the curriculum as a team reflective of the EYFS
- To work in partnership with the parents
- To follow and implement all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery
- To lead the team in your room, providing day to day guidance for your staff where needed
You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Have experience of working with children
