Reception Classroom Teacher A great opportunity for an experienced teacher to work in central Moscow! We are a private nursery school in Central Moscow, teaching expatriate and Russian children from 3 to 6 years old. All our teachers are native English speakers. The teacher to pupil ratio is 1:6 with a total of 40 pupils (Nursery and Reception classes) in the first branch and 47 pupils in the new branch that opened in January 2009.An experienced Reception Classroom Teacher is needed for a class of 23 children with beginners English. You will have the help of 2 or 3 native English speaking assistants and one Russian nanny. Reception Classroom Teacher requirements: – NNEB or similar (childcare or child development)- B.Ed. (primary)- Native English speaker – Minimum 5 years experience with 4-6 year olds- 5 years experience in ESL for 4-6 year olds – Knowledge and experience of the Early Years Foundation Stage of the British Curriculum is a must- Experience in dance, drama, arts and crafts and music are an advantage.Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.15 am to 5 pm, a total of 43.45 hours per week.
