Hays Education are currently recruiting for a specialist R.E. Teacher for a long term position for a school in the Goole area. The position may become permanent for the right candidate
The School is a smaller than average secondary school in a village in Goole. It caters for around 450 pupils aged from 11 – 16 and has a specialist status of Maths and ICT. In a recent OFSTED the school was rated as “good” with OFSTED commenting it had “outstanding features”
There is a lower than average proportion of pupils who are eligible for free school meals. The proportion of pupils from minority ethnic groups and whose first language is not English are also lower than average.
The headteacher has been in post now for a couple of years and has made key restructuring of the management within the school, particularly within the RE department

Ø Qualified Teacher Status
Ø Experience teaching KS3 and 4 RE in the last 2 years

Ø Willingness to be supportive of the schools ethos and discipline procedures
