Pre-school Room Leader
A beautiful, exceptionally well-resourced Nursery is recruiting for a Pre-school Room Leader to manage the Pre-school Unit, ensuring high quality care and education is delivered at all times.
Ideally you will be degree qualified, but this is not essential. EYPS is desirable, but again, not essential.
You will be passionate about ensuring the Pre-school children are well prepared for school, ensuring the Pre-school Unit enables the children to develop their independence as much as possible, via the resources offered, the unit lay-out and through the daily routine.
Ideally you will have managed your own Pre-school room before and will understand how to get the best from your team.
You will establish and maintain links with local schools and other professionals and ensure you are up to date with any and all changes in the curriculum and relevant childcare legislation.
Some of your responsibilities as a Room leader will include:
- To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
- To lead your team in order for them to plan, prepare and review the curriculum as a team reflective of the EYFS
- To work in partnership with the parents
- To follow and implement all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery
- To lead the team in your room, providing day to day guidance for your staff where needed
You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Have experience of working with children
