Part Time Housekeeper-Nanny required by a busy family to help make life run smoothly. To be responsible for cleaning, all family laundry & ironing, preparing children’s meals. Holding a UK driving license is a bonus.
The key to this role is having good English, knowledge of caring for little ones and caring for a 5 bedroom house on 3 levels – must be energetic. Must have checkable references.
The role could potentially evolve to a full-time role or more hours.
We are a young international family: Italian Mum, New Zealander dad with two children a girl and a boy respectively almost 5 years old and almost 3 years old. Our girl goes to school from 8.30am to 3.15pm and our boy goes to nursery from 9am to 12pm every day. We live in Fulham, SW6.
Duties include general housekeeping, cleaning, laundry and ironing, helping taking care of the children particularly in the afternoons after school including preparing meals for the children and taking them to various activities and play-dates, some daily shopping required. Driving would be an advantage to assist me in taking my daughter to school and running the occasional errands.
Our ideal candidate is someone that is trustworthy and has experience in caring for children but is also a very good and thorough cleaner. Common sense and a happy attitude are very important.
To work on Flexible hours, initially minimum of 14 hours per week. Days and Hours negotiable on both sides but ideally split across two full-days 9am-4pm. The job will also involve babysitting one night at week or weekend or on a saturday am/pm paid extra.
