The successful candidate will be able to care for the children and encourage their learning, competent with Foundation Stage 0-5 with proven experience in the six areas of learning which form the basis of the foundation stage curriculum: Personal, social and emotional development. Communication, language and literacy. Mathematical development. Knowledge and understanding of the world. Physical development and Creative development

To assist the nursery team in providing a friendly, caring and relaxing environment in order to encourage and develop children in care.

Nursery Nurses must:

Hold Level 3 qualification

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Room Leader to work with the Under two’s.
This lovely Nursery is looking for an enthusiastic, organised and passionate Senior Room Leader to manage two rooms for children under Two years.

You will be responsible for 9 staff members across the rooms and so will need to have good communication and organisational skills.
You will need to ensure all staff have an awareness of, and are implementing, good practice within their rooms and are providing stimulating activities for all the children in their care.

This position would suit an experienced Room Leader or Deputy Manager of a smaller setting, who is able to motivate their staff and build excellent relationships with all parents.

Some of your responsibilities as a Room leader will include:

This position is based with the 1-2 year olds and will give you the opportunity to take on more senior responsibilities, while still retaining close links with the children in your room.

As a Deputy Manager you will learn more about the running of a Nursery – showing new parents around the setting, dealing with fees, becoming more involved with staff meetings and gaining learning more about the administration in a Nursery.
