Deputy Manager
Are you a strong and experienced Deputy looking for their first step up into Management? My client, one of the UK’s leading day care providers requires a strong Deputy Manager for one of their most successful flagship settings. Candidates must be level at least 3 qualified. Very keen to hear from applicants with or aiming towards a Higher Diploma or EYPS. Candidates must have a good knowledge of Birth to Three matters and the Foundation Stage Framework. Knowledge of the New EYSF is Essential
You must be willing to partake in a 6 month management Training Program that is only available at their Flagship sites.

Skills and Abilities
Track record in supporting the Nursery Manager and Staff Team in previous Deputy or Senior role
An in depth understanding of the Childcare Provider Business
Ability to communicate confidently with a wide range of people
Good organisational skills
Ability to prioritise work and delegate appropriately
To be able to feedback information in the form of written reports
Ability to manage the nursery in the absence of the Nursery Manager
Ability to promote the nursery in a positive and professional manner
An through understanding of children’s needs.
Ability to command respect and motivate staff
