Hays Education currently have a Learning Support Assistant / Academic Coach vacancy specialising in Science, working in the Dartford area of Kent., We are looking for Learning Support Assistants with Science experience – A level or above to cover a long term position in a secondary school based in West Kent.

You will be working on a one to one basis with secondary school pupils, You will be observing strategies and techniques, making observations and suggest changes to approach whilst providing encouragement as you implement new ways of learning.

Our Kent offices, based in Maidstone and Canterbury are dedicated to servicing schools for learning support in the Kent area and over the last year we have successfully worked with a number of schools in Maidstone and Kent to secure a high number of interesting and challenging teaching assistant jobs.

We are looking to recruit highly skilled, qualified, hardworking and enthusiastic teaching assistants for a variety of subjects including Maths, Science, English, PE, ICT who are interested in long term or permanent teaching assistant jobs. Long term or supply teaching assistant positions are usually an excellent way of getting to know a school and more often than not can lead into a permanent job.

  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work

  • Own transport is preferable but public transport is no bar to work A-Level Mathematics and experience of working one to one with pupils in an educational setting essential.
