Sports Teacher – North London

A qualified Sports Teacher is required to work with the Under Fives in North London.

This position will involve working between two sites, planning and providing spots activities for different age groups. You will be responsible for ensuring all children are able to participate in the activities, taking into account individual abilities and developmental level.
You will also be responsible for promoting awareness of healthy eating, the importance of exercise and living a healthy lifestyle.

This position requires you to have energy, enthusiasm and a passion for working with the Early Years.
You will work together with the Specialist Teachers delivering the curriculum within the setting as well as Cricket, Tennis and Yoga Teachers to ensure all sessions complement each other.
A Driving Licence with own vehicle is preferable, but not essential, for this role.
A good understanding of the developmental stages of these young children is essential for this role.

Some of your responsibilities as a Sports Teacher will include:

  • To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
  • To plan, prepare and review the curriculum reflective of the EYFS
  • To work in partnership with the parents
  • To follow and implement all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

  • Qualified to Degree Level in Sports Science or equivalent
  • Have experience of working with children

Teaching Assistant
