You must have minimum of 2-3 years experience as a Nursery Manager with excellent knowledge in both curriculum and commercial side of childcare.

Exceptional candidate with outgoing personality, Excellent presentation, passion for working with Children, Excellent written and spoken English, NVQ / CACHE Level 3 or Level 4 and exceptional knowledge in EYFS (Early Years Foundation) Curriculum and good commercial skills. Must have an outgoing personality and a hands on approach as everyone is treated on the same level.

NVQ Level 3 or 4 in childcare and early years, 2 to 3 years experience as a Manager, very good commercial and curriculum knowledge (EYFS).

Community Nursery Nurse

There is a job for a Community Nursery Nurse in Brent as part of the Health Visiting Team in the area. They are looking for a NNEB or equivalent trained Nursery Nurse to start ASAP for 4 to 12 weeks. The Nursery Nurse could work from 9-5pm or 9.30-5.30pm with a 30 minute lunch break, 5 days a week. The Nursery Nurse will support health visitors and community nurses, and you will also be required to go on visits.

The suitable candidate will have:

  • An NNEB/ Level 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse
  • A solid understanding of the EYFS
  • A solid understanding of the NHS, although not essential it would be desirable if you had experience
  • A proactive and positive attitude to work
  • A sense of maturity as the role may require that you are working with people from various backgrounds The salary will range between £7- 10/Hour and will include holiday pay. Your Key Responsibilities may include -

Act as Room Leader and to implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

Ensure your staff team provide high standards of care for the children.

Lead planning for the EYFS curriculum and maintain accurate records.

Ensure that your staff team are always aware of each child’s individual needs and that all children are kept safe and that the staff understand, and follow Child Protection Procedures.

Support the staff and supervise the staff with their day to day duties.

Be responsible for participating in all self-development activities including appraisals and supervisions.

Meet with the manager on a regular basis and report on individual children and staff
