This role is only suitable for a regional manager looking for career progression and wanting to join a team of senior managers and influence decisions at board level.

The location for this role is flexible provided you can cover the south of the country.

This role is a strategic role which requires the individual to be proactive and forward thinking, you will be contributing to the overall progression of the company. You will be responsible for overseeing the business and childcare management of a portfolio of nurseries, ensuring commercial success in line with the company’s vision and values. Driving the Nursery Managers in delivering a quality childcare service which is compliant with the OFSTED standards, meets customer’s expectations and maximizes opportunities to attract potential customers.

The Operations Director must provide strong leadership skills so that all are clear about what is expected of them and to create a momentum to realise the goals and targets for the portfolio.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing a diverse staff team
  • Customer services – Customer relations & satisfaction, customer attraction and retention
  • Business management – To ensure all nurseries within your portfolio achieve financial targets, manage operating costs and ensure viability and profitability

The successful person for the role will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • The job holder must be experienced to effectively manage the financial and commercial aspects of a multi site business.
  • Must have relevant management experience in a customer related business and a sound knowledge of the national standards for day care. The job holder will also be required to have a sound knowledge of the children’s act.
  • The job holder must be PC literate
  • Must have a clean driving license as the job holder will be operating in a mobile environment.
  • The job holder must have strong management and leadership skills and the ability to prioritise a demanding workload in a dynamic and growing business.
  • Good financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets across a multi site business
  • Good numerical skills with the ability to interpret and analyse monthly management information including sales and occupancy targets
  • Must have people management experience with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

You will work within overall business objectives, procedures, and legal framework but will have a high degree of autonomy on how these are implemented and managed within their portfolio. They will be responsible for driving results and managing costs within their region and responsibility for implementation of AOP for region.

Live-in Nanny Required in Barnes

Live in nanny required for lovely family in Barnes. The role will involve looking after twins (B &G 4.5) and a 3 year old girl. Duties include drop off and pick up from school, nursery duties and arranging and hosting playdates. Hours are 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday although as the children are at school during the day you will not be on duty for all of this time. During the holidays you will provide full time care and the salary will increase to £350npw. Candidates must be confident cooks, have age appropriate experience, excellent english and be a confident driver. An automatic car will be available and you will have your own room with a bathroom shared with the children.

PT Nanny Docklands – Looking for Extra Hours in the Morning?

Part time nanny required in Docklands for 3 lovely children aged 7, 10 and 13. This role is mainly to cover 8 early shifts per month (5.30am – 8am) but the family can offer up to 15-20 hours on a completely flexible basis per week. The role involves taking the children to school on the early start days. Duties during the remaining hours will depend on when those hours are worked but if for example they are after school then duties will include collecting from school, supervising homework, making tea etc. The role is based in docklands and would suit someone who drives or lives locally. The use of a manual car is possible.
