This children centre has been a part of Islington neighborhood life for over thirty years and has been running a nursery within its premises since 2005.

This purpose built setting is part of a children centre and consists of two large open plan rooms and an enclosed outdoor space where children can explore the outside world.

The nursery is open five days a week for 49 weeks of the year, from 08:00 to 18:00.

They currently have 49 children on roll who are under 5 years old and support children for whom English is an additional language.

The right candidate for Nursery Nurse needs to meet the following:

  • Minimum Level 3 childcare qualification
  • Solid experience from childcare setting
  • Good awareness of EYFS
  • Ability to plan and observe
  • Great communication skills
  • Team player

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Support the Team Leader in daily routine
  • Observations and planning for key children
  • Ensuring high levels of practice are being met
  • Carrying out all necessary paperwork

A fantastic Nursery setting which belongs to a leading Nursery Provider requires and experienced Nursery Manager. The Nursery Manager must be fully qualified with a minimum NVQ3 in Early Years, but we do prefer candidates with a relevant Degree or in the process of doing their Degree.
