Proactive, Swimmer O/S Nanny

Geneva, Switzerland. Returning client of Imperial Nannies seeks proactive, flexible, committed Nanny to look after two children; 16-month-old girl and 4-year-old boy. To be considered for the position you have to be a driver, a good swimmer (teach swimming to children would be fantastic) and have to possess excellent English skills. The family is looking for someone creative and caring. French is a bonus. The position is mainly sole charge, working 5 days a week from 7am to 7pm. Occasional 24 hour cover may be required. You have to be happy accompany family while travelling, mainly in school holidays. On such occasions Nanny will share hotel room with one of the children.

Live-in Housekeeper employed and family might get a small dog later. The family property encompasses an indoor and an outdoor pool, a cinema and other facilities. Children’s Centre Support Worker

An opportunity has arisen for NVQ Level 3 Nursery Nurse to work within a Crèche situated within a Modern Sure Start Children Centre within Solihull.

You will need to hold an NNEB, NVQ Level 3 or overseas equivalent and have experience working in an early years setting.

Key responsibilities

Undertake full care of the children who attend the crèche

Undertake appropriate responsibility for the running of the crèche

Ensure health and safety of participants

Participate in training, meetings and keep records

Keep a register of children who attend the creche and keep creche records as required in each Centre/Project

Check with parents/carers if the child/children has any special needs or medication or food allergies you should be aware of, at the start of each crèche

Ensure that at the end of the session each child has left the creche room with her/his parent or carer and report back to this parent/carer what the child has been doing during the creche (e.g. what they have eaten, what games they have played)

Participate in training, meetings and keep records
