Nursery Nurse

A Well-established State Nursery, situated within Sparkbrook area are looking for a flexible, reliable, qualified Nursery Nurse with a warm personality to fit in well with their friendly and supportive team. The successful candidate must have a sound knowledge of the Foundation Stage and be intuitive with a genuine enthusiasm for working with children. The position is part time (mornings only) to start immediately, until March 2010.

Requirements
o Assist the nursery team in providing a friendly, caring and relaxing environment in order to encourage and develop children in care.
o Ensure all daily routines are carried out and records kept up to date.
o To assist in maintaining a safe, clean and tidy classroom
o To ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to and implemented into the nursery.
o Be confident to communicate with parents, carers and other early years professionals.
o Contribute to and participate in team meetings/activities.
o Attend any training courses as deemed necessary.
It is essential that you have previous experience working with children within a nursery setting. Cache Level 3 or equivalent is essential.
