To ensure the smooth running of the Nursery in the managers absence

Assisting Manager with staff meetings, marketing, recruitment, parent’s evenings, rotas etc.

Delegating tasks and ensuring staff ratio’s

Care, education and supervision of children

Supervision Junior members of staff

Planning activities

Administrative duties

Liaising with parents

Ideal role for somebody with managerial experience or Room Leaders/2nd-3rd in charge looking for first managerial position.

Candidates must have good knowledge of EYFS Framework.

full time live in nanny to have a sole charge of baby twins (boy and girl, will be 4 months old in January)

maternity nurse is employed for the first 4 months and the babies are already sleeping 12 hours each night!

this is a sole charge role as both parents work full time and leave the house early

The successful Nursery Manager will oversee the day-to-day operation of the Coventry-based nursery (registered for 100 children), whilst also supporting their smaller 50-place site. Candidates must have experience of Early Years management, in particular marketing and maintaining occupancy levels.

You will need to be dedicated and enthusiastic with the ability to use your own initiative.

Assisted by the nursery team already in place, your core responsibility will be to ensure continuing high quality childcare within a fun, stimulating and caring environment.

Essential skills:

• Qualified Management Level 4 Status either NVQ, Btec or similar
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work and willingness to promote learning
• A secure knowledge of all current relevant legislation and guidance, in conjunction with a clear understanding of the quality indicators.
• Experience of staff management as the suitable candidate will be responsible for staff recruitment and retention.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development is important, with attendance at Manager’s Briefings and training sessions a requirement of the role
• Experience working in collaboration with the Finance team on Payroll and budgeting as the candidate will be responsible for the calculation and collection of fees
• Experience of liaising with external agencies, in particular working in partnership with Early Years and Childcare Service to ensure quality provision is offered

Great opportunity for a French speaking Nanny Housekeeper required to help care for 3 months old baby in lovely location about 20 minutes outside Munich. Must have experience of similar age childcare and be flexible regarding days worked and travel. The family spend 3 months of the summer in their villa in Nice, might travel to New York in October and plan to spend some weekends away elsewhere in Europe. Role includes family cooking or helping mum with meal preparation. As a cleaner is employed 3-4 times per week for the heavy cleaning, some light housekeeping such as ironing and general tidying up and organisation of household forms part of the role.
