Deputy Manager – Guildford

Deputy Nursery Manager, supernumerary for successful Nursery in Guildford. You must be very experienced with at least one senior position of at least 3 years. We are looking for candidates with excellent knowledge of EYFS. Your responsibilities will include supporting the Manager with the following:

Ensuring the nursery achieves and maintains high standards of care, implement EYFS, assist with staff training and staff recruitment, to support the manager in ensuring all health and safety policies are implemented, ensuring compliance with children’s act, ensure that staff are following guidelines laid down by Ofsted and the national standards, staff assessments, developing teamwork, organizing team meetings, assist in all nursery administration and finance, to liaise effectively with parents and carers, and help drive occupancy and assist in rooms when needed.

You will need to be at least NVQ3 qualified or equivalent, degree or foundation degree would be great.

Family Support Worker – Wirral

I currently have a vacancy for a Family Support Worker with Children’s and Families experience to join a dynamic and friendly team in Wirral.

You will preferably have NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or an appropriate field, Social Work, Youth and Community Work or other relevant qualification in an appropriate area.

Working within a local authority in Wirral you would become part of a medium sized team within the Children and Families department. The role operates Monday to Friday 9am till 5pm, however does offer flexibility should you require.

Your key responsibilities will include to engage with children under 5 years of age and their families within a catchment area, making an assessment of their needs and provide early intervention family support where needed, linking seamlessly to specialist and targeted services, to work directly with children and their families in the community within their homes and at the centre venue in order to promote, strengthen and develop the potential of parents, and to develop a programme of inclusive activities, including individual sessions and group work with families, to address the five outcomes outlined in Every Child Matters agenda and ensure that needs are met.

Children and Families Social Worker

I currently have a number of vacancies for Qualified Social Worker’s with Children’s and Families experience to join dynamic and friendly teams within CIN and Referral and Assessment in the Lincolnshire area.

Previous experience of working within children’s and families is essential, experience working within Child Protection and Children In Need is desirable. You must have a DipSW or a Degree in Social Work, or a masters in social work.

You would become apart of a medium sized within the Children and Families department. The roles are temporary initially for three months and operate Monday to Friday 9am til 5pm however, the role offers flexibility if you require.

Your key responsibilities will include managing your own caseload, conducting assessments, working with looked after children, working with the Children’s Act, and compiling court reports. Also you will be conducting section 47’s and section 17’s.
