Part-Time Nanny needed in London, E14 (3 days)
We are looking for a sole charge, self-motivated, warm and caring live-out nanny to start January 2012. Our nanny will need to have a passion for stimulation, learning, development and play for our son who will be 1 year old in February.
Hours
The job will cover the estimated hours of 8:00am – 6:00pm, 3 days per week with flexibility needed to allow for any commuting challenges. The role will start in mid-January 2012.
Location
We live in Limehouse, East London (E14), 5 minutes walk from Limehouse DLR station.
The role
will involve:
- morning feeding, playing & attending toddler activities
- preparing lunch, tea & regular snacks from scratch; supplying a meal plan at the start of each week
- general household duties focused on the baby
- supplying a brief daily report to keep us in touch with progress
- occasional babysitting by mutual agreement
We are looking for someone who:
- Is an experienced, qualified career Nanny (Level 3 Diploma in Home-based Childcare preferred but not essential)
- Has at least 2 years nanny or nursery experience, demonstrating capability of being in sole charge of young babies
- CRB checked and a non-smoker
- Has fluent, clear spoken English
- Is OFSTED registered and accepts childcare vouchers
- Has current First Aid certification
- Can provide references from all previous roles and valid paper certificates for the above
- Is loving, cheerful and energetic, reliable and organised, encouraging creativity & learning
- Is confident to proactively organise afternoon excursions and varied activities
- Is currently available for interview and can start by mid Jan 2012, committing to at least 1 year
Salary: £10 p/hour gross (negotiable, depending on experience)
