French family with two children, based near Paris, is looking for an enthusiastic, fun-loving English-speaking nanny to look after their two children – boy aged 7, girl aged 4.

The children attend school (a 10-minute walk away) from 8.30-11.30 and 1.30-4.30 Mon-Fri (except Wed). They have lunch at home.

The nanny will be on duty normally from 6.30am-8.30pm Mon, Tues, Wed; and after 4.30pm on Thursday and Friday occasionally. There will be occasional babysitting. Weekends and bank holidays free. 5-day working weeks will be required during some of the school holidays.

The family has had a British nanny for the last 2.5 years who will be able to offer a reference about the family.

The successful candidate will speak English as her first language; will have great checkable written references; and will be a confident driver. Ability to speak French is not a requirement of the role.

The ideal candidate will be confident, enthusiastic and fun-loving but at the same time reflect a great deal of maturity and the ability to work independently.

Nanny accommodation will be a separate fully paid-for apartment and the nanny will have use of her own car even in her free time/at weekends.

The Nursery Cook must have experience of cooking for vulnerable groups, such as Early Years, or the elderly. You will plan and provide a range of nutritious, tasty meals for children under 5, ensuring you meet the various dietary requirements and recognise all significant cultural events in the calendar appropriately, through the food you serve.

You will work with the Nursery manager to plan the menu and order the food, working within strict budgets.
