Lovely family who are based in Enfield are looking for a nanny to working every Saturday morning 9am – 1pm, looking after one child who is 15 years old, she has cerebral Palsy, having experience with this is not essential as the family will provide training.

The position may also have extra hours during the week, it is ideal for a student who is studying and is looking for extra work.

Nursery Manager – Sunderland

Bamboo Childcare are looking for an experienced childcare professional with Managerial experience to manage a well established nursery in Sunderland.
Applicants must have a genuine desire to train and develop the staff team.
You will have responsibility for the commercial success of the nursery by maximising occupancy levels through proactive marketing and excellent presentation of the nursery.

Deputy Nursery Manager – Sunderland

Bamboo Childcare are sourcing a Deputy Manager for a Nursery based in Sunderland.

The nursery is a large sized provision and the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the nursery in the absence of the manager whilst being partly room based and involved with general duties such as observations, planning and promoting parent partnerships as well as staff supervision.

The role is a full time position (40hrs per week) with an immediate start and the owners are sourcing an experienced candidate with management experience.

Candidate should have their NVQ Level 3 in childcare or equivalent as a minimum and have minimum 2 years Deputy management experience.

Nursery Manager – Matlock

The role of Nursery manager involves all the general management of the nursery including:

  • Ensure the effective daily management of the nursery in accordance with Company Policy; the Children Act 1989, and other relevant legislation; and all Local Authority and OFSTED requirements.
  • Ensure the safety, security and well being of all the children registered with the nursery.
  • Ensure that all agreed Policies and Procedures are maintained at all times.
  • Be responsible for the safer recruitment, management, training and discipline of all employed staff.
  • Monitor and ensure all agreed company quality and safety standards are maintained in the nursery at all times.
  • Monitor the day-to-day financial operations, including payment of fees, collection of outstanding monies, within the nursery and meet occupancy and financial objectives.

Candidates must have:

  • At least two years experience of working within a nursery at a managerial level.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload and have the ability to lead teams, developing positive relationships with colleagues, parents, children and outside agencies.
  • Good organisational skills and excellent written and oral communication is also essential.
  • Candidates must hold at least an NVQ level 3 in childcare and preferably NVQ level 4.
