East Dulwich (SE22) – a wonderful opportunity has arisen for a Part-time Temporary Nanny to have sole charge of one little girl, aged 6 months, from the beginning of November 2011 for 6 months. 2 days a week flexible, Monday and Thursday is preferred. Working hours are 08h30 – 18h30, salary range is £10 – £12 per hour net, depending on qualifications and experience. Driver preferred, but not essential, an automatic vehicle could be provided for use on duty.
A wonderful family are looking for a long term Temporary Part-time Nanny to care for their daughter, who is currently 6 months old, on a sole charge basis for two days per week. The family would prefer Monday and Thursday, but these are flexible. The child has a structured morning, and goes on an outing or attends an activity in the morning, has a 2 – 2 ½ hour nap at lunchtime, and has a play date or activity in the afternoon. She does classes only a few times a week, so keeping busy every second of the day is not required. She likes to play by herself for about 20 minutes, supervised, which is encouraged by the mum and must be continued by the Nanny. She is a very sociable and happy baby, who will warm up to a new Nanny very quickly. Their ideal Nanny is someone who takes a developmental approach and can advise and guide the parents on good educational toys, books, etc. The family are happy to take guidance from a Nanny will the experience relevant to their daughter’s age.
The Nanny must be warm, loving, and very affectionate – as the child is very affectionate herself. One-on-one care is the focus, and it is extremely important to the parents that the Nanny provide a stimulating environment for their daughter, and introduce her to new things. Must be capable and confident in using own initiative and take a proactive approach in sharing new developments with the family. Additional baby sitting would be great, but that would be the choice of the Nanny, and would be by arrangement and for extra pay. A mucking in approach is required, and someone who is happy to buy milk on the way home from class or help with family shopping would be a big bonus! A qualification is preferred, but not essential. Nursery duties required, as the family have a cleaner who will be responsible for the heavy housework. Mum is taking the time to find the right Nanny for their daughter, and is looking at CVs as soon as possible. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right Nanny!
