Experienced Nursery Manager required to for a well established, successful 70 place Day Nursery with an “outstanding” Ofsted. . You will need to be an exceptional performer. You will be working for one of the market leading Childcare Providers who is recognised throughout the sector as a leader in quality childcare provision. You must be fully qualified and experienced to apply for this position. Ideally, we seek a candidate with a degree or someone who is currently doing the degree. We also require an exceptional knowledge of the EYFS and a good track record with Ofsted inspections.
The setting provides high quality education and care for children 0-5 years of age, as well as strengthening families, local communities and the children’s services sector. They are at the forefront of contemporary childcare philosophy and practice through research, reflection and innovative approaches.
Duties will include:
The day to day running and administration of the Nursery, including all business and care functions
Organising staff meetings and parent’s evenings
Managing budgets
Responsible for Effective Recruitment and staff retention
Staff Rota’s
Delegating tasks and ensuring staff ratio’s
Care, education and supervision of children.
Curriculum design and roll out, ensuring Implementation of EYFS
Developing strong and meaningful relationships with parents, guardians, children, siblings and the local community
