Absolutely lovely, down to earth family are looking for a competent nanny to have complete sole charge of three children although the two older ones are at school full time so your main responsibility would be the little boy of 6 months old. The older girls are at school full time so you will be responsible for looking after the little boy taking him to play groups, someone fun and out going. This is an informal household and the family want someone who is a like minded individual, someone fun and out going who loves babies and has experience with helping with home work etc as well. The ideal candidate will be someone who is on the ball, self sufficient and fun. School runs for the older ones is required so you need to be happy to do this and be a confident driver too.

You need to be happy to offer guidance and get on well with mum as well. She wants someone who really loves what they do but who is also able to look after the children in a sole charge capacity and offer mum advice as these are her first babies. Mum is in and out so you need to be okay with this but she is absolutely lovely and happy for the nanny to take the reigns with the babies.

You will need to do school runs etc but everything is within walking distance. The boy who is 4 years old is at nursery two full days a week and three half days a week so you would mainly be looking after the little boy, taking him to activities and socialising with him etc. In the afternoons you will need to help with homework and bath times as well as cooking healthy meals for the children. There is travel for two weeks a year with this family.

The family do travel so you need to be flexible to do this but they want a smiley, loving, gentle nanny who has a genuine love of children. The family do have a second home in the country so would like the nanny to occasionally travel with them in the week although you would always be able to get back in time for the weekend.
