You will be responsible for the smooth running of the nursery, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • To Achieve and maintain high standards of care
  • To Effectively lead and manage the staff team, manage staff recruitment and retention
  • To effectively manage the budget and occupancy levels to ensure the nursery is profitable
  • To ensure all policies are implemented and adhered to at all times
  • To Implement an effective parent liaison program

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

  • NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • 3 years’ post-qualification experience and 2 years’ relevant supervisory experience
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation
  • Knowledge of OFSTED standards
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a staff team
  • Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities

This position is completely sole charge and the family want a nanny that is able to use her initiative and enjoys outings to the park, little kickers etc. You need to be developmentally focussed as well as active, bubbly and fun. There is no need to drive as everything is within walking distance although if you do drive, there is a car provided for your use. Two nights babysitting as well as some occasional proxy parenting. Normal working hours are Monday – Friday, though some flexibility is required. The family have a holiday home in Greece and you would travel with them in the Summer months. 7:00am-7:00pm. Lovely, informal family, well known to the agency are looking for a live in nanny to look after their three lively and sweet children. They have had a nanny for the past 2.5 years and she is only leaving them to move back to the UK. She is happy to speak with any prospective nannies and has really enjoyed her time working with the family. You need to be happy to look after the three children and confident with all ages although all three are at school full time. The family want someone who is engaging with them, who will kick a ball about with the older boys and play fairies and dress up with the younger one. A driver is essential as you will need to do school runs and arrange play dates for the children. This is a fully staffed household so you need to be a team player and happy to work alongside other staff members. The family live in an absolutely beautiful area on an island although they are only an hour away from Copenhagen so you are able to go there on your days off if you would like to. Copenhagen is busy and beautiful lots to do.

You need to be a lover of the outdoors as well as someone, fit and active and happy to muck in where needed.
