Nursery Manager New Nursery

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced nursery manager looking for a new challenge. This role is with a well establish organisation and ideal for a nursery manager who is wishing to work in a professional and structured environment.

You will be someone who has successfully managed a medium to large settings previously and have a proven track record of achieving excellent standards of care and education.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to lead and inspire your staff team, a team you will have full responsibility of recruiting.

You will have outstanding customer service skills with a focus on setting your nursery apart from other local settings by providing exceptional services in all aspects of the business.

You will be responsible for the smooth set up and running of the nursery, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • To Achieve and maintain high standards of care
  • To Effectively lead and manage the staff team, manage staff recruitment and retention
  • To effectively manage the budget and occupancy levels to ensure the nursery is profitable
  • To ensure all policies are implemented and adhered to at all times
  • To Implement an effective parent liaison program

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

  • NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • 3 years’ post-qualification experience and 2 years’ relevant supervisory experience
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation
  • Knowledge of OFSTED standards
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a staff team
  • Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities

Live-in Nanny Needed in the Channel Islands

Sole charge position available in Jersey to care for two girls aged 8yrs and 12yrs. Accommodation is a cottage shared with two other members of staff. Driver essential. Monday to Friday 7.30am-7.30pm. Lot of exciting travel involved in this role. £Negotiable depending on experience. To start ASAP.

This is a great busy role for a nurturing, lively Nanny who enjoys working as part of a team. The family have four children, but the youngest two (twins of 3yrs) are looked after by another Nanny. You will mainly be responsible for their older sisters aged 8yrs and 12yrs, but occasionally you will also have charge of the twins (around 10% of the time). The family are looking for someone who is pro-active and quick on their feet, someone who can help the girls with their personal, social and emotional development. There is a lot of driving in this role, so you must have a clean driving licence and happy to travel long distances in the car (which will be supplied on duty). There is a lot of travel in this role, up to 12 weeks a year. Monday to Friday 7.30am-7.30pm. £Negotiable depending on experience. To start ASAP.
