A New Nursery belonging to a small Nursery group and operating as a Bilingual English/French setting requires a Manager to start January 2012. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a setting from its onset and develop the business in its community. The Nursery belongs to a very successful, professional organization with 3 other very successful settings in Central London. The new setting will be based in West London, Zone 1 and will be well resourced with equipment and facilities. It is due to open next year, in April 2012. The setting will be open 47 weeks per year and this is a full time position.

We are looking for someone is a very experienced Manager, ideally someone who has started a setting from scratch and preferably, someone who is or is on their way to EYP Status or Degree. If they speak French, that would also be fantastic, although not essential. They will also need a thorough understanding of business financials, exceptional communicator and able to demonstrate sensitivity and awareness when communicating with parents and staff.

We need an experienced Nursery Manager for a well established, 35 place Day Nursery, close to Putney and Richmond. You will need to be an exceptional performer, passionate, good communicator and leader. You will be working for a small private Childcare Provider recognised throughout the sector as a leader in quality childcare provision. You must be fully qualified with at least Level 3 but ideally foundation or full BA Degree. We also require an exceptional knowledge of the EYFS and a good track record with Ofsted inspections.

We are seeking to recruit a Deputy Nursery Manager, to join this ofsted “outstanding” Childcare provider. This is an opportunity to put in the foundations for your future move in to Nursery Management. You must be very experienced and have excellent knowledge of EYFS. You are currently working as a Deputy Manager or a Room Leader and have qualified more than 2 years ago. Your responsibilities will include supporting the Manager with the following:

Ensuring the nursery achieves and maintains high standards of care,
Implement EYFS,
Assist with staff training and staff recruitment,
Support the manager in ensuring all health and safety policies are implemented, ensuring compliance with children’s act,
Ensure that staff are following guidelines laid down by Ofsted and the national standards, Your input with staff assessments, developing teamwork, organizing team meetings, Assist in all nursery administration and finance,
