A private day nursery in the Central Bristol area our looking for two new early years practitioners to join their team.

The nursery was established over 14 years ago and caters for up to 92 children on a daily basis between 3 months and 5 years old. The nursery is in a converted Victorian house and are spaced out over four floors and they are currently recruiting for the under 2’s.

The nursery is massive they are based over four floors, the ground floor is for the 18mth -2’s and they have a ratio of 1 to 3 and can take up to 12. The first floor has two main rooms, one for the 12-18mths which again is a ratio of 1 to 3. This area is split between two rooms one of which is used for sleep time. Across the hall they have the baby room they can take up to 9 children and again have a ratio of 1 to 3. The 2-3’s are on the second floor and they have two rooms to use. There is also the sensory room on this floor that use for nap time at the moment as they are full in this area. The 3-5’s are on the top floor and have three rooms; ratio is 1 to 8 and can take up to 24 children. They have a messy play room, active room and quiet room.

The nursery are looking for someone who has a NQV level 3 or equitant qualification to work 40 hours a week with the under 2’s. The nursery is open between 7.30am and 6pm Monday to Friday and you would do shifts within those hours. As a permanent member of staff you will benefit from 20 days holiday per year plus the bank holidays, this allowance is increased by one day per year to a maximum of 25 days. The salary is negotiable dependant on experience.
