Hays Education are currently recruiting for Early Years workers to work on a supply basis in Nursery settings across Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire. We are looking for flexible and reliable on-call staff to work shifts between the hours of 7.30am and 6.00pm.
Nursery Nurses and Assistants will be required to have a CACHE/NVQ Level 3 Qualification or equivalent.
Hays Education in Hull are currently working with a number of Early Years settings including Private Day Nurseries, Children’s Centres and Primary school Nurseries across Hull and East Riding. We are looking to recruit Nursery Nurses and Nursery Assistants to work on short-term supply, long term and permanent placements.

All appointments are subject to references to cover 3 months experience in the last 2 years of working with children and a new fully enhanced CRB check will be issued.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Must hold a recognised childcare qualification in accordance with OFSTED guidelines (i.e. NVQ 3 or equivalent)
- Have good literacy and numeracy skills
- Experience within the childcare industry
- A good theoretical and working knowledge or either Birth to Three or the Foundation Stage
- Excellent childcare legislative knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to plan and organise
- Ability to delegate when necessary
- Committed to maintaining high standards
- Flexible and Team Player
- Good initiative
- Caring, Friendly, responsible and reliable
