Nursery Nurse required for fantastic setting belonging to a market leader with a recent “outstanding” from Ofsted. High standards, and proactive childcare are the tools used in this setting and very motivated candidates are essential. The setting is registered for 70 children and they have a staff room, games room, sensory room. Your duties will include -
Organising, producing activities and teaching numeracy work
Working to meet the high standards of the setting
Team work – with other colleagues is very important in this setting – you must get on
Producing work and feed back to co-workers and parents, meeting their requests and understanding their needs
Daily cleaning and preparing the environment for the children
Planning and supervising activities using the EYFS Framework
Helping children to learn number skills – numerous activities daily
Reading stories and providing other activities to develop language skills
Taking children on outings
Helping children to learn skills such as dressing and using cutlery
Feeding, bathing and changing babies
Observing children and writing reports on their progress
Being aware of health and safety and making sure children are safe
Sharing information on children’s’ development with their parents
Reporting any concerns such as signs of abuse
