An exciting opportunity has become available for a qualified Nursery Nurse to work in the crèche of one of London’s trendiest Health Clubs. The Health Club is located in the stylish area of Chiswick.
The crèche is open 7 days a week for children aged 3 months to 7 years. The setting prides itself on providing childcare of the highest quality and standard for the families that they cater for.
The crèche has a drop in facility for members of the Health Club and the position available requires you to work between 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday on a shift rota basis. The crèche is set up in one main playroom which allows for all age groups to interact together. The playroom is set up in a purpose build room with toys and activities to stimulate curiosity and a desire to learn.
The ideal candidate for a position will have:
- A minimum Level 3 qualification or equivalent in childcare
- At least 2 years experience working with children
- An understanding of EYFS
- The ability to work under pressure and in a very busy environment
- A flexible approach to their work
- Excellent communication skills
Your responsibilities will be to:
- Meet children’s needs on day-to-day basis
- Liaise with parents and other staff
- Assess risks
- Ensure high levels of practice are met
