Nursery Manager – Essex / East London

This is a fantastic Nursery Managers role, which would be very suited to a manager who is looking to make his/her Mark on a setting.

You will need to be a manager who is looking for a role which requires you to contribute to the progression of this nursery by developing the occupancy and local reputation of the setting. This is an ideal role if you are looking to join a well established organisation with a focus to development. You will need to be passionate about delivering the highest standards of care and approaching all aspects of your work with a care focused approach and providing the very best services to all the children who come into your nursery.

Some of your responsibilities will be:

  • To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
  • To effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention
  • To effectively manage the budget and occupancy levels to ensure the nursery is profitable
  • To ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times
  • To Implement an effective parent liaison programme.

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

  • NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
  • Good time management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation
  • Knowledge of OFSTED standards
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong people management skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities/SENCO etc.
