This Secondary school based just outside Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire is looking for a enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to fill a permanent Cover Supervisor job from September 2010.
Following a recent improving Ofsted report, this school has worked hard on making many positive developments over the past 12 months. The school provides a positive working environment for incoming teachers and outstanding CPD opportunities. Teaching staff enjoy full support from the Senior Leadership Team, working in a school with a supportive team atmosphere.
You will need to combine your professional experience and skills to supervise a variety of subjects across Years 7 to 10 (Key Stage 3 and 4) in this over subscribed secondary school.
Responsible for ensuring the effective supervision and implementation of lesson plans set by Heads of Department, you will need to be confident in managing pupil behaviour and presenting detailed feedback for the returning staff members.

To be considered for this permanent Cover Supervisor job in Buckinghamshire, you must:
§ Currently work as a Cover Supervisor in a school or have at least 40 days experience supervising pupils aged 11 – 18 years in a school / youth club/ training or coaching setting (and be able to provide references)
§ Have a flexible approach to your work
§ Be able to engage pupils in a classroom setting
