Experience of working in a Montessori Nursery is essential for this role. A Montessori childcare qualification is desirable, but not essential, as long as you have an understanding of the Montessori method and a recognised childcare qualification. Some of your responsibilities as a Montessori Teacher will include:
A qualified Montrssori Teacher is required to work full time in a Nursery in East London.
This position would suit a Montessori Teacher who is passionate about combining Montessori Practice with the EYFS curriculum, to ensure all children reach their potential.
This Nursery is looking for a Montessori Teacher with energy, enthusiasm and drive, who is looking to join an organisation that will offer further training and progression.
- To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
- To lead your team in order for them to plan, prepare and review the curriculum as a team reflective of the EYFS
- To work in partnership with the parents
- To follow and implement all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery
- To lead the team in your room, providing day to day guidance for your staff where needed
You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:
- Montessori Teacher’s qualification or Level 3 childcare qualification
- Have experience of working with children in a Montessori Nursery
