An exciting role has come up in a 59 place private day nursery based in North London. This well established nursery are looking for an switched on deputy manager to join their team for an maternity cover (approx 6- 12 months; start in July)

You will hold a level 3 in childcare and have some supervisory experience in an early years setting ideally as a deputy.

Your duties will include:

• Supporting the manager in the day to day running of the nursery
• Leading and deputizing staff
• Liaising with parents/guardians and external bodies including Ofsted and the local council
• Dealing with office administration
• Monthly tally of employee working hours & payroll returns
• Recruiting, interviewing, inducting, keeping to staff-child ratio’s
