Carer required for an elderly lady who is sound of mind but has poor mobility.
Help will be needed in all areas relating to dressing, toileting, and movement in and out of chairs and bed. All aids are in place.
Driver is essential and a car is provided.
Client takes medication which is administered through a nomad pack. Client is also diabetic and insulin dependent but training will be given by the doctor on administrating the insulin – very easy.
Good basic cooking ability and understanding of nutrition essential
Time off is given every day.
The position is to share with another carer both doing one month on and one month off.
Good family support network.
Working day is approximately 9am to 9pm and the client rarely disturbes the Carer at night.
Pay is £80 per 24 hours. Weekends off are unpaid. All Bank Holidays are time and a half if worked.
Good, active, social village life.
