Deputy Children’s Service Manager

We are looking to recruit a highly skilled, qualified, hardworking and enthusiastic Childrens Centre Deputy Manager for an immediate start.

The children’s centre is based near Sevenoaks and is one that prides itself on it’s pupils, ethos and family atmosphere. The centre is looking for a dedicated person who is looking to further their career and support the manager in this busy childrens centre.
The right person must hold a Foundation Degree (Early years -Level 4) and have extensive knowledge of the EYFS curriculum as well as High Scope experience. The children in the centre have a wide range of Special Educational Needs so an understanding of the issues faced by children with disabilities and their families is a must. You must also be able to assist with physically disabled children who may need lifting / carrying, and be able to remain calm in situations that require a calming approach.

The skills we are looking for in this role:

• Foundation Degree, level 4 -Early Years
• Experience of supporting SEN pupils
• Strong classroom management skills
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work
• Willingness to promote learning
• Innovative and resourceful working methods
• EYFS curriculum / High Scope knowledge is essential
