A central London special needs school close to Westbourne Park tube station is looking for a qualified and experienced teacher to lead the KS1-3 team and work with a class of KS2 SLD children (severe learning disabilities). The School offers the highest standards of education, therapy and care to their pupils with SLD (severe learning disabilities) and PMLD (profound multiple learning disabilities).
The school provides a highly individualized approach to teaching and learning, and new staff are well supported by their integrated team of specialist teachers, support staff and therapists. The school is looking for a teacher who can demonstrate strong special needs teaching experience and skills. Teachers with QTS are preferred.

The school has recently under gone a refurbishment as part of the Westminster Building Schools for the Future initiative with new equipment and resources including sensory rooms and a music therapy room.
The position is to start ASAP and to continue through to next term. Initially it will be based on a long, term contract but could become permanent for the successful candidate.
