Higher Level Teaching Assistant – NVQ 4 / HLTA Cert
Hays Education, are currently looking for qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistants for a number of both Primary schools throughout the Hull and East Riding area.
You will primarily be responsible for:
- Covering full classes across all subject areas in Key Stage One and Two both with and without the aide of lesson plans
- Providing 1:1 support with struggling pupils or working separately from the class with small groups
- Supporting the class teacher in the educational and social development of the children
- Assisting the classroom teacher in preparing and implementing lessons.
It is essential that you have an NVQ level 4 qualification with a Higher Level Teaching Assistant status.
You will also need excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with, a patient and positive attitude towards the educational and social development of secondary pupils.
Previous Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant experience and excellent numeric and literacy skills are essential for this and all Hays Education vacancies.
