We require a dedicated, experienced, fully qualified Baby Room Manager who has significant experience with babies. This is a role to manage all 4 baby Rooms totaling 42 babies and 16 staff. This is a huge setting, very busy, vibrant and popular
Your Key Responsibilities may include -
Act as Head of the 4 baby Rooms and to oversee the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Ensure your staff team ( 16 in total) provide high standards of care for the children.
Lead planning for the EYFS curriculum and maintain accurate records.
Ensure that your staff team are always aware of each baby’s individual needs and that all babies are kept safe and that the staff understand, and follow Child Protection Procedures.
Support the staff and supervise the staff with their day to day duties.
Be responsible for participating in all self-development activities including appraisals and supervisions.
Meet with the manager on a regular basis and report on individual babies and staff
Meet with parents
Interview new staff with the manager
