Exciting opportunity for an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to work as part of a large successful nursery located local to Hemel Hempstead.
The successful Deputy Manager will be working as part of a 70 place setting and will be working as part of a professional, established, and friendly team. The main purpose of this role is to support the Nursery Manager in maintaining the high standards which have been achieved and to help manage the day to day running of the nursery.
The following qualifications, training and experience is required for the role:
- NNEB/NVQ/CACHE/BTEC Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent
- have previous experience in a similar role of Deputy Manager within a Childcare setting
- be confident in working in partnership with parents
- To be a role model to the nursery staff
- have a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum
- to have a good understanding of OFSTED standards
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
