Live-in Nanny Southfields Jan/Feb 2011 Start

Live-in sole charge nanny needed for lovely family in Southfields with a 6 month old baby girl. Mum is returning to work so this will be a fully sole charge position, Monday – Friday 6 am – 6.30 pm.

A minimum of 2 years sole charge baby experience is required and at least 2 easily checkable references. Also, a valid paediatric First Aid certificate and a recent Enhanced CRB certificate (we can process/renew).

The family are keen to employ a Spanish speaking nanny – this is not essential but would be a bonus.

There is the option of starting this position anytime from mid January – mid February. The mother returns to work at the end of February.

Deputy Manager

We are looking for a Deputy Manager to join one of our Nurseries on a 12 month contract basis. You will be someone with exceptional knowledge of Safeguarding including the welfare requirements and have good customer service and Administration skills. If you have the ability to support and motivate a staff team and promote the higest standards of care and education for all children aswell as meet the expectations of parents this is the position for you.
The nursery caters for children aged from 3 months to 5 years.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education

To effectively lead and manage the staff team, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff.

To ensure all policies, procedures and curriculums are implemented and adhered to at all times

You will need to be:

NVQ level 3 qualified or equivalent and will need to have, excellent knowledge of the EYFS, good organisational and communication skills, and knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities/SENCO etc.

The role will involve recruiting childcare professionals, managing a team of offsite staff located at various locations around the UK.

  • A strong ability to work autonomously and raise issues to management where necessary

  • To keep abreast of changes in regulations, legislation and good practice within the industry and ensure where appropriate these are introduced and implemented within the business.
  • Be IT and telecoms Literate

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

  • A childcare qualification
  • Experience of working in an office environment
  • Experience of working in regulated environment with a focus on compliance
