Room Leader

An experienced Room Leader is required to manage a busy 1-2’s room. This position will offer the successful applicant a very generous salary and excellent career progression. You will manage the team in the room to ensure high standards of care and education are delivered at all times. You will delegate tasks to the staff team within the room to ensure it is running smoothly and so parents receive excellent customer service.

This is a really rewarding position that will allow you a lot of autonomy within your room – making your own decisions as to show it should be run etc. You will need good organisational skills and clear communication skills.

Some of your responsibilities as a Room leader will include:

• To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
• To lead your team in order for them to plan, prepare and review the curriculum as a team reflective of the EYFS
• To work in partnership with the parents
• To follow and implement all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery
• To lead the team in your room, providing day to day guidance for your staff where needed

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

• Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Have experience of working with children

To manage a 22 place, family, Nursery for 2-5 year olds.

You will need to be passionate about helping all children become successful learners and confident individuals, in a caring and safe environment.

You will need to be qualified to NVQ Level 4 or above or alternatively have QTS/ EYPS.

Montessori Diploma or experience would also be desirable.

Hours are Monday – Friday, 8.30am-1.30pm. (Term-Time only)

Wandsworth, SW18: 3 day cover for a family whilst there current live in nanny is on holiday. The position can be live in or live out. The live in wage will be £200. Hours are 7am- 7:30pm. Sole charge. 3 children, 2 boys aged 5 yrs and 3 yrs, and a little 16 month old girl.

VIP German family seeking professional, organised and discreet Nanny to care for one girl age 10 months. Routine has already been set in place by previous maternity nurse. Security is of utmost important and Nanny must be comfortable with having security personnel around. Nanny will also be required to take courses in security training. Responsibilities include all nursery duties, and adhering to the routine set in place, adjusting as required at each stage. Fully staffed household. Nanny will be provided her own little house furnished within the large country estate. Car to be shared with another staff member. Family estate is about 35 km from Bonn so Nanny should be the kind of person who does not mind a tranquil and quiet environment as the family will reside here for 9 months min. during the year.
