Room Leader / Third In Charge

An experienced Room Leader is required within the baby unit of a warm and welcoming Nursery. You will become part of a committed and extremely caring team, who pride themselves on providing high quality childcare and education.

This Room Leader position will require you to act in the capacity of Third in Charge- supporting the Deputy and Manager and taking on extra responsibilities in their absence. This Third In Charge position will see you in the trusted position of key holder and parent contact, as well as being a point of contact for all staff within the setting.

You must have experience of leading a staff team and dealing with a variety of parent queries, as well as an understanding of how to get the best from your team, as well as always providing a great example for other staff to follow.

Some of your responsibilities as a Room leader will include:

Lovely role for busy family in Blackheath, SE3! Mum needs an extra pair of hands with their busy family – 3 children aged 7, 9 and 10yrs – all are at different schools so needs help with school run, afterschool activities, care in the holidays, meal preparation and generally mucking in as needed! Role is shared and sole charge, but you will need to hit the ground running. You must be energetic, enthusiastic, have fluent english and driver is preferred (not essential). Nanny/housekeeper required to look after 2 children (girl – 6, boy – 4)

Hours: 7.15am – 6.30pm

Days: Monday to Thursday (not Friday)
